Peacefully At Home – Nicola Schofield

Nicola is the writer of “Peacefully At Home”

Nicola submitted the play in response to our script call last summer.

Favourite word?

Proudest moment?

In terms of writing Maybe Tomorrow at Royal Exchange was a turning point for me as i think i found my voice with that play and the confidence to keep writing.

Happiest family memory?
That even when things are tough we still manage to laugh and be kind to each other! So days with food and laughter are always good.
If you could have a room full of any one thing, what would it be?
If 28 hours days existed, what would you do with the extra four hours?
Favourite holiday?
Favourite play?
Don’t have just one, but plays like The Weir by Conor McPhereson and Betrayal by Harold Pinter stand out.  Also love Diana of Dobsons by Cicely Hamilton.
If you had one super power, what would it be?
What is your favourite part of the show?
When we see all the family together, particularly given what we know about them at that point.
